A full-day tour to an Elephant Park which offers the up-close elephant experience. Start your journey in the morning with a pickup from the Empress Convention Hotel. Take the 1-hour ride to the countryside of Chiang Mai. Watch young elephants’ performance; enjoy riding elephant; ox-carted riding, visiting local village including hill-tribe village of Karen long-neck; bamboo rafting along beautiful and very peaceful stunning scenery. Lunch is included.

Thai cooking class

A half-day morning tour to unwind from the stress of city life by immersing yourself in the tranquil organic farm, just 20 minutes from the Empress Convention Hotel and enjoy a Thai food cooking course in the Thai-style pavilions.
Start your morning with a visit to a local market where the instructors will introduce the basic ingredients used in Thai cuisine and show how to select them. Visit the organic farm and you will learn more about Thai herbs and vegetables. You will not only be picking fresh ingredients yourself, but you will also experience how to harvest mushrooms, collect chicken eggs and enjoy a farming-life experience.
The experienced instructors will demonstrate techniques step-by-step first and then it’s your turn to cook your selected dishes. Bon Appetit!
