Visit the Elephant Sanctuary and meet adorable elephants at Maeklang Elephant Camp which has 5-star rating on TripAdvisor. The sanctuary takes in injured and rescues abused elephants and looks after them in a natural and sustainable environment, with strictly no riding or hooks. Visitors will have a chance to get in close touch with those adorable creatures.
The tour will also take you to Doi Inthanon, the highest point of Thailand. On the mountaintop, there are two stupas built in honor of the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej, one of the world’s longest reigning monarchs, and his queen consort, Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother. The stupas are surrounded by a park blooming with flowers.
The tour will end with a visit to a hilltribe village, where you can embark on a short nature trek to experience the natural beauty of one of Thailand’s many National Parks.

Tawai Handicraft Village is a model tourism village that produces all kinds of local handicrafts, though it is best known for its intricate wood carvings. The products reflect the local traditional wisdom and skills of the villagers.
