One-day tour of Chiang Rai province
07:30 – 19:00 hrs.
Price: US$90, including lunch
Chiang Rai, which is located north of Chiang Mai, is Thailand’s northernmost province and is part of the so-called Golden Triangle, where the borders of Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar converge.
The province exudes the atmosphere of mountain ranges and rich hilltribe culture. It offers many interesting cultural attractions such as Rong Khun Temple which stands out for its exquisitely detailed white architecture, with subtle modern twists, making it one of Chiang Rai’s most visited attractions.
After lunch, explore the ancient city and take a boat ride on the Khong River for a closer look at the Golden Triangle.
On the way to Chiang Rai, visit the Sankampang Hot Springs, where you can soak your feet in the mineral-rich waters and try cooking eggs naturally in one of the hotter springs.
